2) What are the times when I can actually speak to someone from CELTIC TEACHERS regarding a supply teacher?
You can speak to Alison or Phil from 7a.m. to 10p.m. seven days a week! (We have to switch to answer phone while we sleep!)
3) If I phone you late in the evening due to an unexpected absence in my school, when will I know if you can provide a supply teacher?
We will call you back as soon as we have contacted a teacher. If it is very late we will call you (or contact you through text/e-mail) first thing the following morning. All our teachers have chosen to work to the same hours as us, that way they have as much notice as possible too.
4) What if I would like to use the same teacher next time I need a supply teacher?
That should be no problem as long as that teacher is not already working elsewhere. The more notice you can give us the better which is why we recommend advanced bookings whenever possible.
5) What are the incentives for using CELTIC TEACHERS?
As soon as you start using CELTIC TEACHERS you will be included in our generous incentive scheme. Please ring us for further details, we'll be happy to explain our system without obligation.
5) Do you offer any other services besides providing supply teachers?
Yes, we offer many additional services that we are developing with interested schools. They are free of charge to schools that use us regularly. Please contact us for further details.
6) What checks will have been carried out on teachers before they come into our school?
All teachers will have had their qualifications, Q.T.S. status, eligibility to work in this country (where relevant) and G.T.C.W. registration checked. They will all have a recent C.R.B. enhanced disclosure, two references will have been sought and they will all have been personally interviewed by us. All in line with G.T.C.W. recommendations for supply teachers. We are in contact with the G.T.C.W. on a regular basis to ensure we maintain standards.
